Why Choose Equestic SaddleClip

The Equestic SaddleClip is a simple device that you clip onto the back of your saddle when you are training. The clip and its App will measure and analyse your training per session as well as over a longer period of time. The data gets collected and is sent to the Equestic app on your phone via bluetooth.

In virtually all sport it is common to use sensors to actively measure your performance, training intensity and progress over time.

Now our equestrian  sport can do the same!

It has been proven that measuring and analysing your training not only improves performance but also reduces risk of injury for your equine partner. Regardless if you are a professional rider or an enthusiastic amateur rider the Equestic SaddleClip will help you develop your feel further and measure your progress. Without objection analysis we often only feel progress when a significant progress has been made, and irregularities only when results in lameness.

So what does the Equestic SaddleClip record?

Symmetry

Symmetry - in landing (mostly related to front legs), push off (mostly related to hind quarter) and in rhythm. It will warn you when your horse starts to load one leg more than usual, or when a diagonal gets weaker. The app analyse your horses symmetry compared to the data of your previous training sessions, and you gain unique insight into improvement in symmetry but you will also become aware of minute changes long before they become they become bigger problems.

Tempo (Rhythm)

Direction

Direction - interesting to know if overall you're training evenly. Of course training sessions need to be uneven from time to time if your horse has a weaker side.

Transitions

Transitions - is important at all training levels. Riding precise and correct transitions has a positive impact on your horses development. You will improve your horse's balance and it will also help your horse to activate pushing hindquarters. Your horse gains strengths, and improves its obedience to your leg, weight and rein aids.

Number of Jumps

Number of jumps- Equestic SaddleClip records the number of jumps and you can see how many you did on each rein, so you can ensure your training is well balanced.

Impulsion

Impulsion - it will measure power generated by the horse in walk, trot, canter and jump. Over time you will see a pattern of  'normal' for your horse and you will know if something has changed, a 'feeling' can now objectively measured. As your horse becomes more collected there will be a difference in impulsion, the SaddleClip will record the change in impulsion over a longer period of time.

Gait

Gait - Equestic SaddleClip monitors how much time you spend walking, trotting and cantering so you can make sure that you meet your training goals and do what you set out to do!
